A: Yes, I provide all of the necessary cleaning supplies and equipment, and only use my customer’s supplies and equipment if requested.
A: Yes, Detail and Clean is fully insured and bonded, and is an LLC. I hope this provides you with peace of mind, knowing that you are protected from any potential damages that could occur during the cleaning or detailing process.
A: The pricing depends on the size of your home and the condition of your home and if you would like a move in/move out service. All of my houses will be semi deep cleaned, so it’s included in the price, which makes the price a tad higher, and although the houses are semi deep cleaned, they should be in a tidy maintained order. Baseboards or no Baseboards that is the question? That is the difference between semi deep cleaned and deep cleaned along with some other goodies. Being officially deep cleaned means all the baseboards will be scrubbed and washed.
Things that are definitely included are the Reachable Vents, cleaning the furniture; all floors will be cleaned, hand scrubbed, and mopped with Better Life or other immaculate products; all carpet and couches will be vacuumed in a detailed manner (corners will not be left behind), and there will be some spot cleaning (for permanent carpet and couch stains-I’m sorry but a professional carpet cleaning company would have to be called in if you would like those stains removed).
Also included are the microwave ovens; TV’s, computer screens, and keyboards (Reasonable-unless specified), Dishes (Reasonable), a Deep Bathroom Scrub (Warning: Some Bathtub, Shower, and Glass door stains may be impossible to remove-especially glass doors where soap scum gets stuck between the glass, trust me I scrubbed a glass door six times with every trick in the book and the soap scum was still unremovable), on the other hand I am a master at cleaning toilets. I pride my self on cleaning but for some reason cleaning toilets was the number one skill I was given; Doors, mirrors, sinks, outside of the cabinets, Doorknobs, outside washers and dryers, outside refrigerators, Wall Scuffs (Reasonable) and organizing (Reasonable), and Light Switch Plates shall be cleaned. I apologize but I do not clean windows, change bed linens, wash your laundry, or clean grout professionally.
I do include the cleaning of the window shelves as part of the cleaning. I save the windows and the window grates for the window professionals. (Over the years just cleaning the interior of the windows without being able to clean the exterior just makes the windows look worse.) Obviously I can make exceptions for front and back glass doors.
I do not clean blinds because the best way to clean them is to remove them and soak them over night in the bathtub then wash them off with the cleaner of your choice, and I do not clean drapes because they are too delicate. (I suggest taking them to a professional dry cleaner).
Extra Costs include cleaning inside the refrigerator, inside the cabinets, inside the oven (deep cleaned) and oven racks-some stains may not be able to be removed because you have to soak them over night in your bathtub-I will happily give you pointers, and the stove and stove fan (deep cleaned)-some stains may not be able to be removed; pet hair, inside washers and dryers, top of the cabinets, deep cleaning ceiling fans, top of the refrigerator, and finished basements. Non finished basements can be cleaned (Reasonable). If refrigerators, washers or dryers, et cetera need to be moved it is also an extra charge.
A: Detail and Clean is open from Monday through Friday, 10am to 5pm.
A: Yes, I have over thirty years of cleaning experience and through trials and tribulations, I’ve come up with a pretty darn good successful cleaning method. If you have any questions about the cleaning, or are interested in some of my cleaning tricks, please don’t hesitate to reach out!!
I do all my own cleaning thus far.
I cover Arbutus, Columbia, Elkridge, Woodlawn, Baltimore, Glen Burnie, Owings Mills, Pikesville, Ellicott City, Hanover, Halethorpe, Sykesville, Clarksville, and Linthicum Heights, Maryland.
I most certainly do!!
Yes I am strictly a Residential Cleaner. I like having the peace of mind that I’m only concentrating on cleaning your humble abode. I also enjoy being able to meet and talk to the renters or homeowners. I’m not judging companies that do every type of cleaning under the sun, I just feel like it’s too easy to spread yourself thin.
I started detailing vehicles at a young age, it was my first love and passion. I was a dishwasher at a restaurant and also a janitor for Giant Foods in high school. I’ve cleaned yachts, commercial buildings, I’ve been a power washer, a garage cleaner and junk remover. I’ve also been a landscaper, and have been in the service industry for over thirty years, but with all the different cleaning experiences under my belt, residential cleaning has spoken to me the most.
Q: Do you provide the detailing and cleaning supplies?
A: Yes, I provide all of the necessary cleaning supplies and equipment, and only ask to use my customer’s water and electricity…and in order to prevent odor or germ transfer, to use my customer’s vacuum cleaner while house cleaning…of course I can certainly bring my own vacuum cleaner if requested.
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes, I’m fully insured and bonded, and Detail and Clean is an LLC. I hope this provides you with a peace of mind, knowing that you are protected from any potential damages that could occur during the cleaning or detailing process.
Q: How much does your service cost?
A: The pricing depends on the size of your house and/or vehicle and the condition, and type of detail or clean you desire, or the type of miscellaneous service (And More) you would like completed.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: Detail and Clean is opened from Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm…unless it’s commercial cleaning, which takes place in the evening and weekends.
Q: Do you use a cleaning or Detailing Checklist?
A: Yes, I’ve been a house cleaner, and car detailer for over thirty years, and have even cleaned yachts, and office buildings, and through trials and tribulations, I’ve come up with a pretty darn good successful cleaning and detailing method. If you have any questions about the cleaning, or are interested in some of my cleaning tricks, please don’t hesitate to reach out!!
Q: Will it always be just you doing the cleaning and/or detailing?
I usually work alone, (unless it’s commercial cleaning), but under certain circumstances, I may bring an extra set of helping hands, (other professional cleaning/detailing techs), who will be insured, bonded, and background checked as well.
I’ve put a lot of work and dedication into Detail and Clean so I can provide you, my customers, with the best service I can possibly give. I have been in this business for a long time, and I’m thoroughly trained, but unfortunately, from time to time, mistakes do happen. That is why I do a full walk through at the end of every clean. Please let me fix any mistakes or concerns you have before I leave, so you can be happy and satisfied, and therefore I can be happy and satisfied as well. If you realize something wasn’t cleaned to your liking after I leave, call me, and I’ll come back and fix the issue.
Contact me today to experience the difference and discover the pristine cleanliness your home deserves. I will exceed your expectations with exceptional cleaning services tailored to your need.
